2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of any country, except those in which we are prevented from doing business by current United States regulations (Cuba, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia or Serbia, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic), who already have connection to the Internet and an e-mail account.

• Employees, officers, and directors of MyITProjects, along with its affiliated entities, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, legal advisors, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate or receive prizes.
  
• Void wherever restricted, taxed or prohibited by law.

3. Monthly Prize Drawing

 

Each month, we will have a drawing for the monthly prize (I-Pod, I-Phone, Blackberry, sub-notebook, flat screen monitor, etc.) To be eligible for the drawings, members need to accumulate points. One point equals one chance. To earn points, a person can sign up to be a member (one point for signing up), members can post questions, respond to questions (one earned point per thread regardless of the responses within the thread), submit a new IT solution (and be approved to be added on our list), post a review on an IT solution, or refer someone who signs up to be a member (one point for the referring member and one point for the person signing up). At the end of the month, each point will be converted to a chance for the drawing.

To earn points:
1. Sign up as a member.
2. Refer someone who signs up as a member.
3. Post a review on an IT solution.
4. Submit a new IT solution (currently not on our list).
5. Post a question on an IT solution.
6. Answer a question on an IT solution (one point for each thread).

4. Annual Prize

 

Annual prizes will be awarded on the second week of December. The IT professional who has contributed the most reviews and best answers (determined by the person posting the questions) will receive a bonus gift (I-Pod, I-Phone, Blackberry, sub-notebook, flat screen monitor, cash, etc.)
To enter:
1. Post as many reviews on IT solutions in which member has significant experience.
2. Post as many answers to questions on IT solutions in which member has significant experience.
3. The best answer point will be awarded to the answer chosen by the member who posted the question on the IT solution.

5. Notification of Winners

• MyITProjects will notify winner by e-mail. MyITProjects is not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected notification. E-mail notifications do not constitute a guarantee of payment of any kind.
  
• MyITProjects will verify the eligibility of the winners prior to awarding any prize.
  
• Prizes may not be transferred or substituted, except that MyITProjects may substitute prizes of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.
  
• In the event a winner does not or cannot accept any prize for any reason within seven (7) days after being notified by MyITProjects by e-mail that he/she is the winner, his/her prize will be forfeited.
  
• Winners will be required to agree (in writing) to an Affidavit of Eligibility and to provide their full name, address, city, state, postal code, country, Social Security Number (or Canadian Social Insurance Number) and date of birth, and, where lawful, a Liability and Publicity Release within seven (7) days of notification, or winner's prize may be forfeited.
  
• Prizes will be mailed within thirty (30) business days after MyITProjects’ receipt of the completed Affidavit of Eligibility and, where applicable, the Liability and Publicity Release.
  
• All federal, state, provincial and/or local taxes/duties are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  
• By accepting the Prize and executing the Liability and Publicity Release, each winner agrees that MyITProjects may post winner's name on a list of winners, and may use the winner's name, voice, likeness, biographical information, winning entry and statements accurately attributed to winner for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion purposes without further notification or compensation.

7. General Terms and Conditions

• The use of machines, computers, scripts or any automated system to register for an account, post reviews, questions and answers, and submitting new IT solutions is strictly prohibited and may result in criminal liability under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, Section 1030 of the United States Code. MyITProjects may terminate and permanently disqualify any entrants who MyITProjects, in its sole discretion, determines as being in violation of these Official Rules. All decisions by MyITProjects are final.
  
• MyITProjects, their parents subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, agents, and representatives" are not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operations or transmission; theft or destruction or unauthorized access or alterations of entry materials, computer transmissions, or for technical telephone equipment, electronic, hardware or software, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions of any kind; or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive entry information by MyITProjects on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof.
  
• MyITPrjects, their parents subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, agents, and representatives" are not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed software transmissions which may limit a participant's ability to participate, or damage user's system as a result of participation, or downloading any information necessary to participate.
  
• If technical difficulties compromise the integrity or ability to continue online registration or participation, MyITProjects reserves the right to terminate the monthly and annual drawings prior to the stated date by which all registrations must be received.
  
• By participating in posting reviews, questions, answers, referring other members, and submitting new IT solutions, the entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules. These rules will be interpreted in MyITProjects' sole discretion, and all determinations made pursuant to these rules by MyITProjects are final and binding.
  
• MyITProjects, their parents subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, agents, and representatives" are not responsible for: (i) Any condition caused by events beyond their control that may cause the registration process, posting reviews, questions, answers, and submitting new IT solutions or the website to be disrupted or corrupted; (ii) Any injuries, losses, or damages (compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise) of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of any prize, or acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of any prize, or from participation; (iii) Any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the registration process, posting reviews, questions, answers, and submitting new IT solutions. MyITProjects reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel registration, posting reviews, questions, answers, and submitting new IT solutions in the event of technical or other difficulties.
  
• By participating, each participant agrees to release and hold MyITProjects, its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives of MyITProjects, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the registration process, posting reviews, questions, answers, and submitting new IT solutions, or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
  
• Monthly points will start accumulating on the 1st of each month at 12:01 AM Pacific Time. Monthly points will stop accumulating on the last day of the month at 11:00 PM Pacific Time. Annual best answer points will start accumulating on December 1 at 12:01 AM Pacific Time. Annual best answer points will stop accumulating on November 30 at 11:00 PM Pacific Time.
  
• Prizes cannot be directly exchanged for cash. All dollar amounts are given in U.S. currency. All times are given in Pacific Time.
  
• All entries become the exclusive property of MyITProjects, and as such, MyITProjects has the right to edit, adapt, modify, publish, promote and otherwise use or not use the entries and the information contained therein in any way it sees fit.
  
• All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply.
  
• MyITProjects reserves the right to change the Prize Drawing Official Rules without notice. If changes in the Prize Drawing Official Rules are made, they will be posted within 30 days of the effective date.
